A Brief Thank You

I expressed my frustration and disappointment in this post (and this one, too) when I come across Christian bloggers who spread harsh and/or negative messages regarding parenting. Ones I won't even link to here because I refuse to perpetuate the awfulness. (Plus I had that whole spiel about being nice a while back, and I don't trust myself to stay civil when discussing them.)

I've only been writing my thoughts here for just over a year, and this site is still pretty obscure in the online world. Luckily I have found a welcoming community of absolutely wonderful blogs, authored by Christian women, that I find comfort and connection in. They may not know me personally, or even as my Blogger Self, but I thank God for each and every one of them and the inspiration they provide.

Sending positive thoughts and much gratitude to . . .

What blogs would you add to this list?

Thanks for reading and have a blessed day.

  1. Thank you Momma in Progress! How lovely to discover your blog and I'm honored to be included in this list. It is a wonderful, encouraging, loving community that I am thankful for each and every day - I echo your sentiments and could have written this post myself! Much love to you from one momma in progress to another!

  2. Thank you for including me in this list. What an honor! It is so encouraging to my heart to find like-minded Christian mamas through blogging, too.

If you haven't already, I would recommend checking out Tulip Girl. http://www.tulipgirl.com/ She's one of the first gentle Christian parenting bloggers I got to know years ago, and she has become such a mentor to me via blogging. Her archives are full of incredible wisdom.

Thank you again for such a wonderful list!

  7. Thanks to all of you! You are such an inspiration to me. We have been having some *rough* days around here lately . . . growing pains with the whole homeschooling thing and an, um, slightly defiant 3-year-old. But I always love to read positive parenting words of wisdom from fellow bloggers. Makes me feel less alone and gives me some great ideas!
